Day 1. Packing and heading off to the Airport

After Mitchell had organised much of the bookings and planning for our next adventure, we are finally off for another walking holiday.

My bag was lighter this time. Measuring in at 6.0kg. Mitchell once again beat me here and weighed in at 5.7kg.

My packing is below. Our last trip to Europe resulted in my Bunnings 4-port USB-C charger dying early and I was charging my phone off of my laptop at times. This time I ordered a UGreen 4-port charger capable of 100watts which should do nicely. I also ordered a 99.9wh battery brick for charging (likely what made me a slight bit heavier than Mitchell). I will share this power brick with Mitchell and he will share his toothbrush charger with me. Saving weight.

On 25 June 2025, we drove to Mitchell’s Aunty’s home in the Blue Mountains and she helped us travel to Chippendale where we stayed with her partner in a lovely workers cottage. We had a very lovely dinner and a walk around the Chippendale neighbourhood.

While out and about little Ned got a walk and we saw the Central Park Halo and the platform behind it being the Sea of Light which extends from its host building.

Today, 26 June 2025, being what I will call the first day (Day 1), Mitchell’s Aunt once again helped us get to the Airport before heading back to Blue Mountains. We arrive at the airport ready for takeoff and another adventure. Flight CZ326 to China and CZ307 to Amsterdam.

Will report back upon landing in Amsterdam (probably in 2 days time).
