It’s pouring again supposed to get 32mm today so honestly, I just took the day to relax. Did a bit of laundry and had a break. I’m staying in Bad Ragaz now, where absolutely no one speaks English. Check in was classic me standing there, nodding and smiling, having no idea what was going on, but I got my room key in the end.

Spent the afternoon swapping and prioritising my hiking plans because of the weather. All the hikes are sorted, just shuffling the order so we get the best out of whatever weather shows up. I’m parked at a pub now, having a beer, double checking maps, and hoping for a bit of sunshine.

Got just under two weeks here in the Swiss Alps, including a trip to the Dolomites in Italy. I planned for two weeks because I knew things might get a bit messy, so it’s all good unless it just rains for two weeks straight! Wish Tom and me luck! We’ve got a bunch of epic Hikes coming up. Some hikes might not happen if the rain sticks around, but others might get combined into some pretty long, wild days.
One thing’s for sure! These mountains are massive, wild, and a bit dangerous exactly what I was after.
