Sadly, I woke up Saturday morning with a slightly sore stomach. I didn’t think too much of this initially, but it turns out I should have. I think the amazing hamburger I ate yesterday was not so great. It was either that or the slice of cheese cake I ate afterwards.
The hamburger I so enjoyed and wanted to eat again was certainly not on my list anymore.
I tried to go for a walk today, I quickly learnt I should have stayed in bed. I didn’t make it very far, a few kilometres at most, and I needed to return to the Ibis hotel via Uber.
On my walk, I got a picture of one church. The Ludwigskirche. A Catholic Church called St. Louis.

Having spent weeks walking through the mountains, often walking 15km or more, I was shocked at how fast your fitness can disappear on you. I stayed in bed for a while until about 5pm. I then realised I needed to get some supplies so I ventured down to a supermarket to buy some things I might need. Drinks, food such as grapes, and other things I might need through the night.
From my first night in Munich, I realised that everything closes early, so I didn’t want to wait too long to go and get some things. I have also now learnt, as of writing this late post, that all shops care closed here on Sundays.
Saturday night, without knowing how long I would be down for, I booked an extra night in Munich and changed my trains.
