Today, we flew from Lisbon to Madrid. We also made plans for our time in Madrid.
Our accommodation here was rather compact. Shower in same room and shared toilet down the hall. But for $60/ night each it wasn’t to bad to be in the centre of Madrid.
Mitchell researched more 5 star restaurants at reasonable prices. We had amazing burgers for lunch. Over lunch we booked a Hop on Hop off bus tour to learn what was in Madrid.
After this it was nearing end of day. We planned a palace guided tour and a day trip to Segovia for the coming days.
We had Tapas for dinner. These are small servings. I had two pies, Mitchell ordered a blue cheese on bread which was the strongest blue cheese I have had.
After this we walked around Madrid and the parks near our hostel.
