Once Mitchell had finally risen this Easter morning (hehe) and joined me in the common area we departed for Plaça Reial where we took photos the night before.

View over breakfast.

In the plaza Mitchell toured for some collectibles, finding some Magic the Gathering amongst stamps and coins and notes.

Collectibles.

We then departed for mass. Investigating which cathedral was most suited to our spiritual requirements.

On the way we saw a famous arch

Some famous arch.

Found our first church which was open and dancing happening out front.

Our second stop we went into the church where service was being held. We stayed for 20 minutes.

Santa Maria del mar.

Walking along the El Arco de Triunfo we took some more photos. We had decided to go to the famous church which has taken centuries to finish building.

We also saw soccer tricks here.

Arriving at the Bacilica de la Sagrada Familia. A building which has taken centuries to complete. It towers above the other buildings in Barcelona.

Over lunch, we debated our next move. We decided we wanted to take a walk up another hill and view Barcelona from above.

It was a mighty walk. At the top of the hill we also decided we would go to the beach which was 6km the other direction.

Top of the hill and unfinished basilica we left behind.
Yesterday, we climbed the hill in the distance across this image and visited the castle and took photos of the ships and industrial area.
A popular spot.

We made the big decision to walk to the beach next. Which took an hour and a half of straight walking. We passed graffiti art on the way, a beautiful dog.

In Portugal and Spain, we keep seeing the cross of the Templar’s. Being Assassin Creed players we both recognise this, appreciating we learnt something from those video games.

Arriving at the beach I took some photos. Mitchell wanted to visit a rock wall and we sat for a while watching the Mediterranean Sea.

We then headed to dinner. Our first choice took far to long to moved back to yesterday’s choice in George Orwell Square.
