Today: 22.1km walked.
For some reason this morning I wake up to find my one pair of jeans and jumper are wet! Someone washed them in the middle of the night and didn’t get them dry.
So we set out with me in shorts and t-shirt in 12° weather with a forecast of rain. We follow the river from our house to the upper market districts.
We walk past beautiful scenery.
And take the normal tourist router along the river on a wide footpath.
To a dead end. We turn back and walk along a bike path instead by a highway.
We visit Notre Dame on the small island in the river. Still being repaired and signs show what great care is being taken to restore it after the fire in 2019.
We pass many police in streets, something normal in Europe but possibly due to riots recently.
After 10km, we reach the Eiffel tower.
We then have lunch. I finally remember to take a photo of my food but only of the entree.
Then off to Napoleon Bonaparte’s tomb. We educated ourselves later on the mayhem he caused in Europe later at night.
Below is the video. Very interesting.
We then walk to the Arc de Triomphe.
We go underground and visit the traffic island of the Arch.
After this we take a very busy metro back to the apartment. We spend the night booking our next adventure. Not quite sure what our plans are tomorrow but the Louve is out as they are selling limited tickets due to riots.
Until tomorrow.
Tom luving the Blogs.
I look forward to reading them every morning.

Ill try to get some of me. Lol.
Greg was asking me how it is over there with all the riots. Stay stay x
Cant see any riots. Back to normal it seems. Maybe it got to cold and wet.
