Internet backup

I decided a month ago I would back up the internet (just in case). I decided I would build a rusty old laptop in a rusty tin box and store a copy of the internet on that home-made device just in case I ever needed a copy and the lights went out.

I have not yet built that rusty old laptop in a tin box. But I plan to still built it. To test out a few different options or ideas I installed Kiwix which has options to download different internet archives and have backups to run offline. This was perfect to what I wanted to try out.

Below you can click a link to a Raspberry Pi 3b running the Kiwix web service and a few different archives installed on it.
