I started this blog as a travel blog where my good friend Mitchell and I were off to Europe! We are back now and we had a really good time. These daily blog posts are still available to view under the category M & T Travels.
I am now using this blog as my main homepage to my various projects. I have an internet backup (just in case), various stories I have made with ChatGPT’s help, I plan to get my Mudgee Menus website back up and running in order to find take-a-way menus in the Mudgee area.
What is this server running on?
I am still learning what web servers need in order to operate. As it turns out they do not require much at all. I installed a small Linux Debian build which is running inside a virtual machine. This visual machine has assigned to it:
- 1 logical processor (2013 CPU, i7-3770).
- 1024MB of ram
- 8MB of video memory
- Running off a HDD
Lately, it has even been running off a hard drive and not an SSD. I needed the SSD space so had to move it. Its performance appears to be just great for low traffic.
