Day 19. A walk around the hills of our new town

Today, we started off our day with a coffee and croissant.

Following this, we walked for an hour to get to the airport and picked up an exciting new car. Almost too exciting for me. People zooming around short mountain roads, little visibility, overtaking. But, I plugged in the wrong address into the GPS so we went to our accommodation instead of Mitchell’s planned visit. I decided to explore town for a bit given the drive would be another hour and Italian drivers are much too fast for me.

In any case, we are in the Dolomites which Mitchell has been looking forward to for a while now. He planned this whole trip around getting here and seeing the sights he wants to see.

I decided to explore our new town. I first visited a supermarket to get some lunch. Pickings were slim from this place. I then did some booking of trains while I ate. Planning my next move. I ate a pasta for lunch.

I decided to do a walk around the mountains of town, initially planning a route but deciding to modify it heavily. I largely ended up doing a large loop of town in the hills to get photos of multiple angles. Below are some photos of my trip. I did a total of 16.5km, with this mornings walk I did a total of 25km for the day.

We are here until Friday when Mitchell and I split ways. I head to Munich while Mitchell explores Italy further.
