Today: 15km around Brussels.
After a late night arrival in Brussels, we head straight to bed. We wake up quite early. We soon depart for a walk around Brussels.
Mitchell researches what to do in the city. He took me to a small castle.
We then had a coffee and croissant.
While it warmed ip we visited a museum. Magritte was on display. I took some photos.
Then off passing the Royal palace which was heavy under construction.
Took a photo of my second coffee. And a lively toilet.
Then off to visit a church called Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula. There were photos of the royal family inside who look to be attendees on occasion.
We then had a very big lunch.
And a walk through the main historical districts and the Manneken-Pis. A famous statue for some reason. I think I have seen it before, but not sure where. You can buy a statue of it anywhere in shops as you please.
We head back home for an hour and I have a grandpa nap.
At 5pm we had scheduled a chocolate making workshop. We queued up for this with photos. Attended the workshop with a very enthusiastic chef who runs her own chocolate shop which is all handmade.
After which I choose a Lui Lin Taiwanese Street Food restaurant which turn out to be a vegan restaurant which was very very nice.
After this we do the Ferris Wheel. Mitchell has a go at filming a blog and hold the camera the right way up for at least half the video.
We then head to the hotel. We are exhausted and I write this blog quickly. I still have to do some washing before our next hostel in Amsterdam where it is very difficult to do washing.
We eat chocolate into the night. Tomorrow off to Amsterdam at midday.
